DENTAL HYGIENE

  • Teeth Scaling: this procedure involves the removal of plaque and calculus ( plaque that has calcified onto the teeth) which cause gum disease. We use ultrasonic and hand instruments and clean away these rough bacterial deposits , leaving the tooth clean and smooth again.
  • Root planning and deep cleaning: like teeth scaling , root planning works by planning away the rough deposits that are inside gum pockets and need to be removed to achieve better oral health. It has been shown that these bacteria that harbour in gum pockets spread into the rest of the body and cause inflammation elsewhere in the body.
  • Sensitive teeth and Desensitisation: if you have sensitive teeth we can recommend specific products and ways in which to use them to reduce and manage your sensitivity. We also can apply fluoride varnish to reduce sensitivity and also to
    protect your teeth more.
  • Jet-polishing: Tooth polishing is the final touch and this removal superficial staining, but in addition to this we have a special technique that takes the polishing to the next level and removes all the more resistant stains and leaves the tooth nice and smooth.
